I wear many hats. I am a mother, a wife, a student taking up BS Psychology, and a content creator on the side. While doing my role as a mom to my daughter and a wife to my husband, I am also continuing my studies until I graduate to provide better opportunities for them.
When I had my own family five years ago, I needed to take a leave from school to focus on and provide for them. When my daughter had grown enough, I decided to go back to school because I am still hoping to finish my bachelor’s degree.
My daughter is about to go to school this incoming school year. Staying at my current company where I report to work everyday doesn’t give me the chance to take care of her, so I already resigned. I want to experience bringing her to school everyday, as any mother would.
With this, I want to try my luck in seeking for new opportunities that can help me earn for my family and take care of them at the same time.
Being a Customer Service Representative in the BPO industry for 3 years, I was already able to gain enough experience in helping and assisting users/customers with their respective concerns, following a documented process.
As mentioned, I create content on the side, mostly about being a mother to my premature born daughter. I usually post my contents on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. Having experienced creating such contents, I was able to learn some aspects on the said platforms that have been beneficial for me to gain engagement. Aside from this, I was also able to learn how to create the content I post through Canva and other editing applications.
Having this background, I know that it still isn’t enough, but I am very much willing to learn more on how to utilize my skills to help me look for a freelance job that can support me and my family.
